Hi

Welcome to my blog. I’d love for you to follow along on my journey!♡

Hi guys! Graduation is almost here & I wanted to leave behind some advice for the classes below me. Whether you’re going to be a senior or not, I hope everyone can enjoy reading & take away something from this! The friends you start with might not be the ones you finish with however, you’ll finish with the ones you’re meant to. I had a great group of friends my freshman/sophomore year. We made unforgettable memories & I cherish our time together! Between different schedules & busy agendas it’s easy to drift apart. It’s normal & a part of growing up. The people I'm finishing high school with might not be that same group, however I don’t know what I’d do without them. 2. Dress up like a grandma or a Disney character or a superhero. I’ll admit, I slacked off on theme days this year but in the past, those were some of my favorite days. If you’re too embarrassed to stunt alone, find a friend or a sibling or whoever you’re dating & dress up together! Don’t be embarrassed to wear the mum or the garter. I was soooooo embarrassed to walk around the school with that thing around my neck as an underclassman but you’ll wear it with pride as a senior. Someone worked hard to make it special, whether it be your mom, your date or even just you. You’ll appreciate the memories behind it one day! Give a compliment & make it genuine. Personally, my years as an underclassman were full of competition & judging others. Learn to see the best in the people you’re surrounded with everyday because who knows when you’ll see half of them after graduation. If you think someone looks pretty in their insta pic or hit every note at pop show… tell them! A little kindness can go a long way, especially in high school. It’s totally fine to drop that difficult class even if all your friends are taking it. Do what’s best for you! When there’s other options available to you, don’t put your grades & sanity at risk just because you feel like you have to do something everyone else is doing. *Especially if it involves Mrs. Myers* Try something new whether it be sitting with a new group of people at lunch or going to that party everyone’s talking about. Or both. Senior year is all about making memories! High school isn’t like it is in movies… but it is what you make it. lastly Enjoy it while it lasts. Everyone looks forward to graduating & moving on but I promise you’ll feel a little emotional walking to your classes, eating lunch with your friends & being a high school student for the last time. My senior year flew by so make every day count!

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog post! High school is such an important time in our lives & each piece of advice comes from experience. I could go on & on!
